Acceptance of terms
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before downloading or using Voice Board. By using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Voice Board may be used by individuals, families, caregivers, teachers and therapists, including in their work with the people they support. If you disagree with any part of these terms, do not use the app.
License and permitted use
You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control.
You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, distribute or resell it for commercial purposes, or remove any copyright or intellectual property notices.
Subscriptions and payments
Voice Board premium features are offered as auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Some plans may include a free trial or an introductory offer, shown before you confirm the purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can view, manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings (iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions).
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
The free version limits some features, such as the number of cards and profiles, starter packs, iCloud sync and profile import and export. The current limits are shown in the app and may change in future versions.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, and refund decisions are made solely by Apple in accordance with its policies.
By making a purchase and subsequently requesting a refund through Apple, you acknowledge and agree that we may provide Apple with information about your purchase and app usage activity, as described in our Privacy Policy (https://voiceboard.bilalakkoc.com/privacy), to assist Apple in evaluating your refund request.

Disclaimer
Voice Board is a communication aid. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or replace the advice of a speech and language therapist or another qualified professional.
Do not rely on Voice Board as your only way to communicate in an emergency. A device can run out of battery, be lost or fail; keep another way to call for help available.
Speech is produced by the voices built into iOS, and pronunciation may vary between languages, voices and iOS versions. The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Your content
The cards, phrases, photos and profiles you create belong to you. You are responsible for having the right to use any photo you add, and for obtaining consent where a photo shows another person.
Your content is stored on your device and, if sync is active, in your iCloud account. iCloud sync depends on Apple's service. We recommend exporting important profiles as .voiceboard files as a backup.
Privacy
How your data is handled is described in the Voice Board Privacy Policy (https://voiceboard.bilalakkoc.com/privacy). By using the app, you also agree to that policy.
Third-party services
Voice Board integrates the following third-party services:
HeceSDK / ASOPRO (heceapp.com): provides analytics and subscription management. Anonymous device and usage information is processed by this service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google): collects anonymous crash reports, as described in the Privacy Policy.
OneSignal: used to deliver push notifications. By enabling notifications, you agree to OneSignal's Terms of Service. You may opt out at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications.
Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in Voice Board, including its designs, logos and starter content, belong to the developer. Symbols and emoji shown on cards belong to their respective owners, such as Apple (SF Symbols) and the Unicode emoji sets. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights.
Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Significant changes are published on this page and the “Last updated” date above is changed. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. The developer, Bilal Akkoç, is based in France.
Any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
