Cards stay where they are

Categories and subcategories
Needs, Feelings, Food and Drink, Home, School and more, each with its own subcategories, in a strip that never moves.
Favorites and folders
Pin the cards and phrases you use most and group them in folders.
History and search
Repeat a recent sentence from history, or find any card by searching. History can be turned off per profile.
An emoji or symbol for everything
Pick the emoji or symbol for any card or category from a large library, or type your own emoji. Colors can be set per card and category.
Your own photos
Take a photo of a favorite cup, a teacher or the park and turn it into a card.
Voice, speed and pitch
Every profile has its own voice, language, speaking rate and pitch.
Card size and grid density
Large cards for easy tapping, or a denser grid when more words should fit on the screen.
Child and adult profiles
A child profile is warmer and more colorful, with bigger cards. An adult profile is calmer and denser, for longer conversations.
Long-press for more words
Press and hold a card to open its related words: “I” opens “mine”, “to me”, “from me”, “with me” and “for me”.
Whole sentences from one card
Hold “water” and choose “I want water”, “Can you give me water?” or “I'm very thirsty”.
Add your own variants
Add new words to any card with the + button. The main board stays short and calm, while every word stays within reach.
Ready to talk from the first minute
Pick starter packs during setup: 14 packs and more than 200 cards, all translated. Every card can be edited, moved or deleted, and you can add as many of your own as you need.

Who is Voice Board for?
For anyone who needs support communicating verbally: children and adults, at home, at school or in therapy. It is not built around a single diagnosis or age group.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Cards, the sentence builder, typing and speech all work offline. The internet is only used for iCloud sync, purchases, notifications and anonymous app statistics.
Is Voice Board free?
Voice Board is free to download and you can start communicating right away. A subscription unlocks more cards and profiles, all starter packs, iCloud sync and profile import and export.
Which languages are supported?
20 languages for the interface, the cards and the voice, including Turkish, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. A single profile can use more than one language.
Can a therapist prepare a board for us?
Yes. A profile can be exported as a single .voiceboard file and imported on another device, with all its cards, phrases and photos.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Voice Board. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
